Ementa
Abordagem de elementos relevantes da biologia tumoral, dentro de um enfoque celular e molecular, destacando-se aspectos relativos às células neoplásicas, ao microambiente tumoral e à resposta do hospedeiro, em associação aos principais métodos de investigação destes eventos. Circuitaria molecular no câncer: ciclo celular, proliferação e diferenciação celular. Imuno-histoquímica: princípios e aplicações, recuperação antigênica e sistemas de amplificação. Genética molecular do câncer: instabilidade cromossômica e mutações, oncogenes, genes supressores de tumores, eventos epigenéticos. Estroma e invasão tumoral: vasculogênese tumoral (contexto molecular, padrões de organização, marcadores e quantificação), MEC e câncer, hipóxia e progressão tumoral. Inflamação, macrófagos, células dendríticas, células natural-killer e câncer. Câncer como doença sistêmica/metástase.
